Inside Sales/Lead Generation

Responsibilities Include:

  • Calling into prospect hospitals to introduce PeriGen solutions to nursing, physician, and risk management leaders
  • Securing attendees for in-person events as well as product-specific webinars, and
  • Qualifying leads for hand-off to the sales organization. 

Prior sales experience and outstanding track record in healthcare a must; exceptional interpersonal skills a given!

CLINICAL CONSULTANT
 

Scope and Responsibilities

  • The objective of this position is to be the clinical subject matter expert, as part of a project team, in the assessment, planning, design, implementation and maintenance of PeriGen’s obstetrical software systems and services.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recognized as clinical subject matter expert for PeriGen’s obstetrical software with in-depth functional and clinical workflow knowledge
  • Leads the clinical assessment, workflow configuration, user testing, training and end user support for implementations and upgrades of PeriGen’s OB products and services for clients
  • Acts as a liaison and consensus builder for broad, multidisciplinary groups including clinicians, ancillary personnel, and IT analysts as appropriate, clearly communicating and translating information and concepts between and across the different groups and influencing outcomes
  • Creates user requirements and workflow documents
  • Maintains client relationships with clinical users to promote and assure clinical user satisfaction following implementation
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of OB clinical practices, regulations, and operations that may impact the implementation of PeriGen’s software
  • Maintains a knowledge base of best practice standards for fetal monitoring and electronic medical documentation and promotes new technology to support OB patient care needs
  • Develops, plans, delivers and manages client training programs

Required Experience:  

  • Prior clinical implementation experience with EMRs, fetal monitoring systems or similar hospital-based systems
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Prior experience as part of a matrixed project and client team
  • Ability to travel (up to 75%)

Personal Attributes:

  • Demonstrates critical thinking with ability to analyze complex clinical software systems and workflows; must be knowledgeable in understanding and troubleshooting of software logic
  • Knowledge of redesigning clinical processes to improve efficiency and patient care, preferably in conjunction with the implementation of a clinical information system
  • Possesses excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with ability to initiate insightful and interactive dialogue to obtain in-depth nursing and physician feedback for product and service improvement opportunities.
  • Advocates and participates in cross-functional teams across the company to define client solutions and enjoys “rolling up the sleeves” and  providing hands-on contributions
  • Capable of independent decision-making to meet the needs of the position, yet willing and able to collaborate with other team members to manage project to defined standards and performance metrics
  • Ability to anticipate problems, identify potential solutions, communicate the options and implement the recommended solution
  • Strong customer service orientation, interacting with both internal and external customers
  • Proven organizational and time management skills


Education:

  • BS in Nursing required/Master’s in Healthcare Informatics or Business is a plus
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of Obstetrical experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years healthcare experience working with computer applications on a routine basis

TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

Scope and Responsibilities:

  • The objective is to be the technical subject matter expert, as part of a project team, in the assessment, planning, design, implementation and maintenance of PeriGen’s obstetrical software systems and services in a hospital.


General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recognized as technical subject matter expert for PeriGen’s obstetrical software with in-depth technical knowledge of server, workstation, database, network and interface requirements
  • Leads the technical site assessment, design, configuration, system testing, implementation and upgrade of PeriGen’s OB products and services for clients
  • Installs and configures PeriGen’s applications on hospital servers and workstations
  • Configures and installs HL7 and other desired interfaces between PeriGen and client systems
  • Assists in finding technical and workflow solutions
  • Establishes client relationships with technical users to promote and assure technical user satisfaction
  • Trains client representatives on the structure and maintenance of PeriGen’s systems
  • Provides customer support of PeriGen’s application in client/server environment
  • Engages in incident troubleshooting, resolution and root cause analysis
  • Participates in rotating on-call schedule


Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years with Microsoft Network environment delivering software and systems support to, or working within, hospitals
  • Network monitoring and using network analysis tools for Windows 2008 environment including AD
  • HL7 interfacing protocol
  • SQL query language, SQL server 2008
  • Experience with clusters and Citrix
  • Experience with EMRs or fetal monitoring systems or similar hospital-based systems
  • MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
  • Ability to travel (up to 75%)

  • Advocates and participates in cross-functional teams across the company to define client solutions and enjoys “rolling up the sleeves” and  providing hands-on contributions
  • Capable of independent decision-making to meet the needs of the position, yet willing and able to collaborate with other team members to manage project to defined standards and performance metrics
  • Self-starter – assumes responsibility for completing projects, programs and technical implementations while keeping senior management aware of issues, challenges and changes to workflow and project timelines, as appropriate
  • Ability to anticipate problems, identify potential solutions, communicate the options and implement the recommended solution
  • Strong customer service orientation, interacting with both internal and external customers
  • Proven organizational and time management skills  


Education:

  • Requires BS/BA in computer science or related field
  • Systems network engineer with healthcare experience is a plus
  • Advanced technical certifications desirable
