AWHONN National Convention 2009

PeriGen is delighted to have participated in the 2009 AWHONN National Convention in San Diego, CA. We were pleased to have had the opportunity to share information about our OB-specific risk reduction solutions with the nation’s pre-eminent obstetrical nurses, and demonstrate the only multidisciplinary OB clinical decision support solution to AWHONN attendees. Some of the nurses said, "It’s like having an electronic perinatal clinical nurse expert at the bedside 24/7!"

This year, PeriGen hosted two very successful events at AWHONN:

On Sunday, June 28, PeriGen hosted a Viennese Dessert Reception at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Guests sat poolside and enjoyed coffee and desserts and while networking with nursing leaders, including PeriGen’s Chief Nursing Officer, Dr. Vicki Lucas, Ph.D., R.N.C., co-author of Women’s Health Nursing.
On Tuesday, June 30, PeriGen hosted a Spanish Tapas Reception at Café Sevilla to celebrate the close of the 2009 AWHONN Convention. Guests enjoyed authentic tapas while enjoying live music played by Classical Spanish Guitarist Oscar Aragon.
