Held April 30 - May 1 in Washington, DC the 2009 PeriGen Knowledge Summit was an informative, lively event filled with opportunities to learn more about important trends and practices in OB, as well as network with colleagues and friends. An annual event, the Summit brings together representatives of each of PeriGen’s client hospitals to share unique perspectives on critical trends and issues shaping the field of obstetrics. 

 

The networking highlight of the 2009 PeriGen Knowledge Summit was a progressive dinner held at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.  The event celebrated the “impossible” missions and achievements of the men and women who changed the history of aviation and space flight, and featured entertainment by DC’s infamous singing comedy troupe, “The Capitol Steps.”  

 

In addition to industry-leading speakers, the 2009 Summit featured engaging panel discussions, case study presentations, and breakout sessions designed to connect clinicians, technologists, and risk managers with their industry leaders and professional peers.
