PeriGen, Inc. and Advanced Practice Strategies, Inc. Announce Exclusive Partnership to Provide Physicians and Nurses with Online, OB-Specific Programs with Continuing Education Credits

Princeton, NJ (September 26, 2010) – PeriGen, Inc., the only OB-specific risk reduction company to provide solutions which generate immediate, quantifiable clinical and financial value, today announced that it will partner with Advanced Practice Strategies, Inc. (APS), a leading provider of education solutions for patient safety, to provide accredited, perinatal safety courses to clinicians. Providers will be able to access curriculum through the PeriBirth? clinical decision support system and the PeriCALM? electronic fetal monitoring system.

PeriGen will offer its client hospitals APS’s nationally recognized Perinatal Safety Curriculum, developed with experts from leading academic medical centers including both Harvard and Stanford as well as Hospital Corporation of America. The web-based curriculum is centered on clinical practice, and has demonstrated positive patient safety results in hospitals where it is used. Clinicians who successfully complete the courses receive continuing education credits (CME and CNE).
